Sara Lynn Evans, born on February 5 1971 at New Franklin Missouri was raised as the youngest from seven brothers. She has always loved music and started singing with her family at age five. The singer began her professional career at age 16 after performing in an establishment near Columbia Missouri for two years. In 1991, she moved into Nashville Tennessee with the intention of becoming a Country Artist. Sara performed a sample version of Tiger By the Tail, one of Harlan Howard's songs during the recording session at County Q Studios. Harlan Howard determined that Sara should perform his music. The singer signed a deal with RCA. Evans made her debut album Three Chords and the Truth in 1997. Many critics were awed by its return to country and included it in numerous Top 10 lists. Born in New York she grew up in Long Island and later moved to France for an acting career and began her work as a model. Later, she ventured into different channels, such as working as the radio jockey for Radio Luxembourg. In the late 70s, she acted as a feature movie actress, as well as in other French feature films. The actress returned to Hollywood after a couple of years in order to pursue the dream of a Hollywood career. Her biggest Hollywood film success came in Goodfellas an appearance for which she received nominations for many prestigious awards like the Academy Award. Though she initially worked in movies, she eventually picked offers in television series too and achieved excellent success in these.
