On the Guiding Light soap show, she played Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award by Soap Opera Digest in 2003, for the Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas in the ABC program Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. In 2012, she was in the NBC pilot Happy Valley which was not picked up.
